I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the Queen clip appeared to be two seperate performances stuck together...
Thanks for all the clips anyway - I was only thinking the other day it'd be nice to see some more of these Disco clips posted Are there any other 'lost' TOTPS from Disco that Steve hasn't posted, or do we have them all now?

Those were all on UK Gold.
Nothing rare there I'm afraid

Hi Gary. Yeah, I looked at your blog a couple of weeks ago.
Good to see all those pics of Slade on TOTP.
I'll have another look in a bit.

You could tell that Slade had made a lot of money by that point by comparing the old piano Jim Lea was playing on the TOTP "Look Wot You Dun" performance in 1972 and the far grander version he was playing 3 years later on the "How Does It Feel?" performance.

Many many thanks indeed for these clips... I watched them all back to back and it was the best edition of TOTP2 I'd never seen! Pure glam heaven in places... The "Hot Love" clip - is this the famous occasion where Bolan wore glitter on his face for the first time, the occasion which some regard as the very beginning of Glam rock?
Great fun to see Keith Moon looning and gurning away and though rough quality, "Purple Haze" was wonderful... live vocals too. The Uriah Heep clip left me speechless... the haircuts and clothes...
I hate to admit it but seeing these certainly got me wondering what else there could be lurking on some dusty shelf. Nice one!

Yes, cool pix. Cheers.
One slight mistake on the site - there are 3 surviving "Blockbuster" performances. The Xmas one; the one used on "Sounds of the 70s"; and a b/w one (that's on the same edition as the commonly-seen Thin Lizzy "Whiskey in the Jar"). This latter one is against the "fruit machine" set, so it probably the one you have the colour still of. Have to check the clothes to be completely sure.
